Chicken Meat is a highly digestible protein and contains essential
amino acids - the building blocks for healthy growth and repair of the
body. Containing natural levels of
Calcium and Phosphorus. Also providing your dog with naturally
occurring compounds Glucosamine and Chondroitin insure healthy joints.
Sardines: Sardines are one of the few sources of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), a nutrient found the body's cells. In a nutshell, it's believed to have antioxidant properties and is said to enhance physical energy. Studies have also found that CoQ10 benefits those with cardiovascular diseases, particularly hypertension and congestive heart failure. In addition to CoQ10, these little nutritional powerhouses are also ample sources of vitamin B12, selenium, omega-3 oils, protein, phosphorus and vitamin D.
Carrots: Carrots are good source of Thiamine, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate and Manganese, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Potassium. Carrots are an excellent source of antioxidant compounds, and the richest vegetable source of the pro-vitamin A carotene's. Calcium Carbonate: Calcium
Carbonate is the true complete food grade form of solid calcium. The
AAFCO requires that any dog or cat food be equal in calcuim and
phosphorus. Chicken bone is not a naturally a one to one ratio. This
is why we add calcium carbonate to increase the calcium ratios in the
food.
Spirulina: Spirulina is a blue-green alge and contains the highest protein and beta-carotene levels of all green superfoods and is also a rich source of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid), a popular fatty acid with numerous health benefits which inlcude a boost in the cardiovascular system. In addition it is the highest known vegetable source of B-12 and provides optimum levels of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, cell salts, amino acids and enzymes. Very green with kind of “seaweed.”
